Rain, snow, sunshine, or wind – it doesn’t matter. The Allwetterzoo Muenster is designed for enjoyment regardless of weather. How? Covered walkways. With 5km of trails, about 1km of them are covered. Keeping you shaded in the sun and dry in the rain. And for the animals that require stricter temperatures, they’re housed in indoor structures regulate the weather.
There are over 3000 animals covering over 300 species at the zoo.

Tip

Visitors get a chance to feed some of the animals. Check the schedule beforehand to plan accordingly.

Did you know?

During the summer a waterbus can transport visitors from Muenster’s city center to the zoo on the Aasee.
